Perdere - to lose

La donna pettina i capelli di suo figlio.

She combs her son's hair.

Muovere - to move

Lui muove la macchina.

Vestirsi - to dress oneself

Modal Verbs

Modal Verbs are used with dovere, potere, and volere.

The reflexive pronoun can be attached to the infinitive or placed before the verb phrase.

They love each other and get married to each other.

Devo svegliarmi alle sette domani.

I must wake myself up at seven tomorrow.

Vogliono divertirsi al parco.

They want to enjoy themselves at the park.

Telefonarsi - to call each other

We put lipstick on ourselves.

Prepararsi - to prepare onself
