Essential Question: What tools can help us ensure that our model is ready to be printed?
Do Now: (3 min) Today you will submit your completed ring design for 3D printing! Will all of the orientations below allow us to successfully 3D print our ring? Why or why not?

Other considerations should we take into account before finalizing our design for 3D printing
1. Check for any gaps between any parts of the design.

2. Double check for alignment of - letters and other parts of the design.
3. Be certain that the size is correct. (You want your ring to fit after we print it!))
Due today:
- Complete your Monogram Ring and submit it for 3D printing.
To complete:
1. Go to 03.30_Monogram Ring in your Google Drive.
2. Open the file and follow ALL instructions, answer all questions, and capture all screenshots.
3. Final step: save an STL of your ring to your Tech & Design folder and insert the link in 03.30
The Monogrammed Ring
Today's design is a monogram ring. Personalize with your initials! (Or a family member or friend!)
Basic Laptop Rules:
1. No music. And no headphones - except when watching assigned videos.
2. Only use the laptop assigned to you.
3. Carry the laptop by the base (not the screen).
4. On task - doing so is worth 10% of your overall grade on the assignment.
