the end.

I think we would like to take a trip like this because it would be fun to see the outdoors for once in our sheltered lives. We are tired of living solely in our basements on facebook and would like to experience the real world and connect with mother nature on a personal level, ya know? It'd be so rad to see the world without the corporate culture and the media propagating the image of the American ideal as commercialism and other such bs. We'd be free from the expectations of society to express our true selves.

Biking

The best outdoor pursuit of them all. We suggest it be integrated into the MHS curriculum immediately.

  • Gas Money: $52.50 Round Trip
  • Park Fees: $200 ($40 per night for 5 nights)
  • Coleman camping stove: $49
  • Food costs: $150
  • Kayak rentals: $80 total

There is a 9.5 mile bike path throughout the state park, but most of the peninsula is also accessible by bike. We'd spend our third day biking around the state park and seeing the counties lighthouses and fire towers.

Swimming

There are numerous beaches in and around the park for swimming, where we will get to utilize our swimming skills learned from this class.

Ultimate frisbee

Ethan and Mike playing Ultimate correctly

Near many of the beaches are cleared park areas perfect for playing ultimate frisbee in the wide open grass

Relaxing/Tanning

Rollerblading

sunlight is readily available throughout the park, which should enable mike to eliminate some of his pastiness, however, it must be noted that this may create a safety hazard for gingers, and sparkly vampires

Ethan Tanning

it is possible to skate through much of the park since many of the trails are paved. Unfortunately, this may not be enough to save mike from considerable humiliation. at least he will look stylish while he suffers (see photo at left)
