CONCLUSION

Like what the character of Alex Rogo in the book “The Goal”, the HDMF Management sees to it that it will uplift and continue to be true to its commitment to the public. After all, what the Fund hopes is that its members can say that “Indeed, sa Pag-IBIG, ang pinaghirapan, may katuparan”.

Home Development Mutual Fund (HDMF)/ Pag-IBIG Fund

is a Government Owned and Controlled Corporation established on June 11, 1978 by virtue of Presidential Decree No. 1530 primarily to address for the need on a national savings program and to provide an affordable shelter financing for the Filipino worker.

CONCLUSION

The introduced new system, the Integrated Information Systems Project (IISP) is not expected to be perfect. It has its own set of weakness especially during its transition period. It does not mean that the Fund will no longer encounter challenges and or problems in the future. It is certain that there are still gaps that need to address and enhance as the time goes on. This system is not the only solution for the company to achieve its goal and promise to its members. The whole organization still needs the integration of the policy makers, the system and the implementors or the operations group.

CONCLUSION

Each division of the Fund has to know what its contribution to reach the goal. All units should be involved in planning and target setting for them to have clear vision of each role in the organization. Identifying the “bottlenecks” is very crucial, yet it is an indispensable task for the management to address because it will become the greatest hindrance to achieving its target.

THE EXISTING SYSTEM:

Weaknesses and Flaws

1. Local data base for operating unit

INTEGRATED INFORMATION SYSTEMS PROJECT (IISP)

For more than 35 years, Home Development Mutual Fund has been a loyal partner to its members from both private and government sectors. Its members have been rising up to 16.5 million and is still counting. Like any other organization, it needs to adapt to the change of its environment, most specifically in the technology aspect. It needs to step up to cater the needs of the numerous members, thus, apply what the technology advancement has to offer.

The project is developed to integrate and interconnect the different HDMF application systems to facilitate the processing and management of large volumes of transactions and data reliably
