I think that the theme of my book is that even when your knocked down you always have to get back up. I think this is the theme because many times in the story Wahoo (the main charicter) has bad things happen he is always up beat and positive. Also things happen right haft another and it seems he cant chatch a break. These bad things include his mom going to china his dad not being able to work due to a concussion, and being chased by a drunk gunman.

I choose a picture of a frozen iguana which relates to the book in many ways.The first of which being that Mickey, Wahoo's dad, was hit in the head with one falling out of a tree, and that what gave him the concussion putting him out of work.Also this book talks alot about the invasive species of Florida and iguanas are one of them.They are let
