Through the spirits of the ancestors, the Shang kings consulted the god through oracle bones, and some animal bones. The shang worshiped a supreme god, Shang Di.

The Huang He is the world's sixth-longest river at 3,395 miles. The river is called the, "Yellow River," named for the color of the silts that are carried downstream in its flow. The river has flooded so often that is has become known as the, "River of Sorrow." It is also called, "Mother River," because it is the birthplace of ancient Chinese civilization.
On the tour your guide will introduce you to a Chinese citizen that will help you and make sure that you know to say all of these names in Chinese, you'll also be given a choice to practice writing the names in Chinese.
