A system enhanced land record management facility that ensures integrity of and access to land information such as cadastral maps, isolated survey plans, public land applications, patents and titles , and also to perform quick processing of land transactions and updating of land records as well as the tracking of applications undergoing processing. This is supported by a digital cadastral database that provides a spatial reference.

Improving the services of LMB and LMS sector through the following :

  • Provision of a uniform system for the LMS in all Regions in the computerization and linking of land information pertaining to Cadastral Maps, Approved Land Survey Plans, Public Land Application and Titles.
  • Identification and correction of missing, erroneous and conflicting land records.
  • Provision of an effective management of land records through database and imaging technology and by computerized inspection, verification, and approval of survey returns.
  • Establishment of an integrated land information system in LMS and LMB to support effective land titling activities, and any future collaboration with other sectors of DENR and other agencies’ operations and the dissemination of electronic land information to local government and other users.

PROCEDURE IN HANDLING THE RECORDS DURING DATA CAPTURE

INVENTORY FORM

1. If the survey envelope to be retrieved are bundled, the retriever needs to untie the bundle and take the survey enveloped needed to be captured and retie the bundle and return the bundle to its files leaving behind the envelope/s subject for data capture.

The records retriever (DAR personnel) will fill-up the form and should affix his/her signature then retrieve the survey envelope for encoding and scanning

The retrieved survey envelope will be turned-over to the encoder/scanner with a inventory list attached therein for encoding and scanning. The space provided for should be filled -up

After encoding and scanning the records , please return the survey envelope to the assigned Records Officer for validation. After validation, the survey envelope should be returned to the file besides the bundle where it was retrieved from and only the filled up form will be returned to the bundle and the captured records should be filed separately beside the bundled records where in it was retrieved from. Once the survey envelope is returned, The retriever should make it sure that the Records Officer in-charge should sign and should be noted on the space provided located at the lower portion of the form that the retrieved survey envelope has already been returned.

During the data capture activity, the concerned personnel will fill-up the form and affix his/her signature
