Andrew Jackson

People said that Jackson abused his powers. In document #1 Jackson is stepping on the Constitution. Jackson did things they way he wanted, and didn't really think about the other people.

Jackson made all of the Indians move.

They had to travel over 500 miles. 5

different groups of Indians had to move.

Jackson was in charge of the Indian

Removal. Being president, it's his job to

make sure that everyone's rights are

protected and not violating them. He did

not treat the Indians with the same respect

as everyone else. They named the path of

the Indians the Trail of Tears, Jackson was

a scumbag.

Andrew Jackson was one of the

only people in Tennessee to own

slaves. He should of tried to set an

example by being one to not have

slaves. When he became president

and during is presidency, the

number of his slaves increased a lot.

Not everything Jackson did made him a scumbag.

Jackson destroyed the National Bank because it didn't

help the poor. He thought about all of the people that

it could affect, and made sure that it benefited most of

the people and if it didn't, for the most part he was

against it.

Andrew Jackson was born into a poor family, and

most people admired him for that. Jackson had a

very strong opinion and wanted things to go his

way all of the time. Jackson had points that were

stronger than others. You can tell that he tried, but

not always hard enough. Jackson made some really

dumb decisions that only benefited him. He always

had to have things his way or you were in trouble

and you would want to start running. In my view

Andrew Jackson was a scumbag more than a

superhero in his presidency.

THE END!!
