This experiment was designed to test the amount of time each alcohol would last.
Most important things to consider:
How many Joules of heat are required to raise the temperature of 365 g of water from 68.0 degrees Celsius to 90.0 degrees Celsius, given the specific heat of water is 4.18 Joules per gram, degree Celsius?
Heat Capacity/Specific Heat:
Hydroxyl Group (-OH)
Specific Heat Capacity
Methanol: 136.99
Ethanol: 217.39
Propanol: 282.35
Isopropanol: 311.69
This experiment was designed to test the amount of heat given off by an alcohol over a period of time.

THESIS:
The results would be that the alcohol with the largest atomic mass will burn for a longer period of time and the alcohol with the smallest heat capacity would exert more heat.
