The purpose of the not-for-profit Aesthetic Realism Foundation is to meet the urgent need for people throughout America and the world to see each other and reality fairly. The means to that fairness is Aesthetic Realism, the philosophy founded in 1941 by Eli Siegel, American poet, critic, and educator.

This explanation that the deepest desire of every human is to love the world on an honest basis is stupid. On an honest basis, the world is not extraordinary, but tough instead.
I originally chose Aesthetic Realism because I knew of the term religious realism which is "there is a knowable objective reality and that magic reveals more of it than science". Because of this, I thought that Aesthetic Realism would be a cult formation aorund the religious definition of Realism. Unfortunately, Aesthetic Realism is even more cringe-worthy. In my opinion, this is because of the fact that Aesthetic Realists all have the deepest desire of every person to like the world on an honest or accurate basis.
Purpose: To get the world to realize that Eli Siegel was the greatest person who ever lived, and that Aesthetic Realism is the most important knowledge, ever.
