Day Two: Intro and Conclusion
Day Four: Revising and Editing Your Draft
Directions:
1. Complete introduction and conclusion of your outline. Be sure to get them teacher checked when complete. Use the outline template as your guide.
2. Complete Blasts when finished with both your introduction and conclusion.
Today, you will use our Revision and Editing Protocols for large writing assignments to revise and edit your literary analysis. After you revise your own, get two friends to revise it as well. If you are unsure how to revise, there is a Prezi on Schoology to review. Then do the same with Editing.

Day One Continued: Body Paragraphs
To Do Today:
1. Turn your outlines in to drafts.
2. Revise your draft using Revision Protocol.
3. Edit your draft using Editing Protocol.
4. Publish on Google Docs
5. Complete Blasts
We will be using the text and video version of "All Summer in A Day" to create our first literature analysis.
Directions:
1. Read body paragraph one and how it is crafted.
2. Complete body paragraphs two and three on the outline. Use the best evidence from both the text and video versions to support your paragraphs. Be sure to get them teacher checked when complete.
3. Complete Blasts.
Day Three:
Turning Your Outline in To An Essay: Drafting
Today, you will take your outline(s) and turn them in to first drafts. The first drafts should be five paragraphs in length and will be done on notebook paper.

- Literary analysis focuses on how plot/structure, character, setting, and many other techniques are used by the author to create meaning for the reader.
