Glacier National Park

Glacier national park should be kept in the national park service because there are several nearby attractions to also see when visiting this park, and there have been More than 100 Million visitors at this park.

History

There was evidence that humans lived here more than 10,000 years ago. There were BlackFeet Indians controlling the east Mountains, while salish and kootenai Indians lived in the west. small towns were developed in 1891 and in 1910 president taft signed the bill establishing glacier Park as the country's 10th national park.

Climate

In glacier national park, there is heavy precipitation and moderate temperatures. The high winds produce a dry, and extreme climate. At this park, wind is the single most important climate factor.

3 Favorite Features

Our favorite features of this park are many glacier, Lake mcdonald valley, and the north fork. We like North Fork because it looks really cool, we like lake mcdonald valley because at the lodge next to it you can sit in front of a big fireplace after a long day of hiking. We like many glacier because it is really pretty.

People should come to this part of the country because there are a lot of fun things to do like biking, hiking, cross-country skiing. You can also visit many other places in the park like alpine meadow, gunsight lake , and reynolds Mountain.

Glacier National Park is located in northwest, montana. WE will take a plane, and when we get there we will rent a car.

Some of the main features are going-to-the-sun road, Many glacier, Lake mcdonald valley, North fork, and st. mary valley.
