How Can We Prevent This?
- Obtain a prescription wash specifically designed to treat pubic lice
- Work the shampoo into the pubic hair for five minutes
- Comb the pubic hair with a fine comb to remove nits(egg sacs)
The best way to not spread pubic lice is to not have many sexual partners. If you or someone else has pubic lice, do not have sexual intercourse until treated. Other ways to prevent getting it are to bathe regularly, having a clean bed, and wearing underwear when tryin on a swimsuit.
