John Knowles' Career
Paramount Pictures made A Separate Peace into a movie in 1972.
A Separate Peace won the William Faulkner Foundation Award and the Rosenthal Award of the National Institute of Arts and Letters.
A Separate Peace was John Knowles' best peace of them all.
Knowles wrote several other novels. None of them received as much popularity as his first novel.
