- St. Monica, the mother of St. Augustine of Hippo, was born in 322 in Tagaste (in modern-day Algeria. Her parents were christians.
- Through the power of prayer and patience, St. Monica converted her pagan husband and mother-in-law to the Catholic faith.
- She prayed for 17 years for her son ( St.Augustine) to change his life which was full of sin.
- She is the patron saint of wives ans abuse victims
- Bullying is unwanted, aggressive behavior among school aged children that involves a real or perceived power imbalance. The behavior is repeated, or has the potential to be repeated, over time. Bullying includes actions such as making threats, spreading rumors, attacking someone physically or verbally, and excluding someone from a group on purpose.
- 75 percent of school shooting have been linked to harassment and bullying against the shooter
- 40 percent of boys who were identified as bullies in middle and high school have been arrested three or more times.
- About 28 percent of students in grades 6-12 experience some form of bulling according to bullying statistics 2013.
- Over 30 percent of children are scared of admitting that they are a victim of being bullied
- To prevent bullying from happening, report it to an adult or peer

Dear Lord,
We come before you and raise up those who are being bullied; for those who are being hurt with cruel words, who are being tormented, and suffering from physical abuse. For all who are suffering right now , we ask for your protection to surround them. For those who are being bullied at home, work, school, work, online or within their community. We ask that you help give them strength.
In Jesus name we pray,
