- First Noble Truth:
The story goes that Siddhartha Gautama was an Indian Prince. His father was really protective of him so he didn’t let him go out into the real world, he had a really good, positive and happy life, not knowing what was going on in the world around him. But one day, he escaped his home. When he went outside, saw an old man suffering, a sick man dying, a poor man living on the streets, and a dead corpse. He came to the realization that they were suffering. Siddhartha was confused and scared, he asked someone if that happens to everyone including his loved ones, friends and family, the answer was yes. He needed to come up with a solution to solve this problem of suffering. He needed to seek Enlightenment. He left is family and journeyed to try an seek the answer through the most intense form of meditation. After a while, he couldn’t find the answer, he decided to sit under a tree and vowed to not move until he found the answer. A few days later, he rose as the Buddha. He accomplished all of this through meditation
