Lolita Summary

The book I want to do is lolita, this is because it really interested me. It interests me becauase the book is about a 40 year old man falling in love with a 12 year old girl and marrying her mother to be close with the young girl. When I go on to instagram or tumblr ect. I always see people romanticizing young girls dating older men which obviously isnt good so I want to look more into it.

Author info

The author is Vladimir Nabokov, also known for his pen name, Vladimir sirin who wrote nine novals in russian, the one novel he wrote in english (Lolita) was the one book he was most famous for. He was born on april 22, 1899 to a really rich family. He had four younger siblings yet he was the favorite. After his sucess of lolita he went back to europe to continue writing.

Why it was banned

pedophilia, sexual scenes.
