Cracking the Code

Where do you want to work?

Most people are one of six personality types: Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Enterprising and Conventional.

People search for environments where they can use their skills and abilities while expressing their values and attitudes. For example, Investigative types search for Investigative environments and so on and so forth.

People who choose to work in an environment similar to their personality type are more likely to be successful and satisfied in their position.

Is it important to be happy at work?

Do I have to go into a career field that I match up with?

The Holland Code theory says that if the person and their job have the same or similar codes then the person will likely be more satisfied and persist in that working environment.

WARNING!!!

While the results of the Holland Code are intended to guide you toward a career in which you will find satisfaction and/or happiness based on your likes and dislikes, Remember that it is not required that you go into one of the discussed fields.
