This order affected, primarily, schools in the south. Because of integration,school systems had to make a change.
President Dwight D. Eisenhower issued a proclamation, no. 3204, saying that all people cease the obstruction of justice. The proclamation said the secretary of defense should order military defense to carry out purposes of this order and they are directed to take all appropriate steps to enforce desegregation.
This order helped change the south. The south was making quick actions to desegregate, with the help of the Fed's of course.
