Lulu Belle Madison sadly died from heart failure in 1957. She will be remembered by all Texans. She was so dedicated to making a better place. Lulu made a big difference in the world.
Lulu attended Prairie View College and got her bachelors degree in English which led her to teach it to the African American community in the Height .She also joined the National Association for the advancement of colored people(NAACP). After a while she resigned from the height community and devoted all of her hard work and time to the NAACP.
Lulu Belle Madison White was born in 1907 in Elmo Texas. She married a business man named Julius White and she had to foster children.
When she was younger she was a popular personality. In 1936 she was voted "queen of the radio". She was also a regular on the National Barn Dance. She attended elementary school,high school in Elmo, and enrolled into Butler College in Tyler.
