Allowing, America to expand boundaries however, resulted a terrible impact on the Native Americans who lived and were raised on that land.

This trial was significant because ten African American boys arrested and accused of assault and rape. This case concerned Caucasian women on a train. The boys are convicted and charged with the death penalty.
* This trial illustrates injustices in our system and specifically concerning minorities. There is also evidence that is not being overturned in regards to the allegations proving the boys did not committ such a heinous crime.
The Civil War had many consequences on America, but the reason for which it was fought, slavery, was not fully resolved.
During the war many African Americans fought for the union side for the promise of equal treatment and opportunity.,
This is significant because this was a lesson for Americans in history politically, economically and socially.
This compromise further represented slavery in America and gave a definitive definition.
Missouri was admitted as a slave state and Maine as a free state. As a result, balance was the same but, above all states would be free.
*This is significant because the debate of slavery was delayed and as a result, it was not ended.
