B.J. Moore

Brian

B.J, values friendships very much. I consider B,J, one of my good buddies and i know he feels the same. He is not shy and has an easy time making friends.

Danny

?

Brian is much like B.J. in the fact that he makes friends very easy and is the furthest thing from shy. Sometimes Brian gets a little too agressive with his friendship approach but you know he has great intentions,

Danny is a freak athlete dispite his disability. The dude inspires me. He is going to go to the Olympics, I am sure.

Ryan

Brian (CBI)

Ryan can not communicate full sentences and has trouble speaking most words. You would think this would limit him on his friendships but you would be wrong. Ryan loves everyone and is not bias what so ever.

Raven uses her high tech wheel chair to move around. This with her disability, she cant walk very well and this motorized wheel chair allows her to move about.

Q

Q is really functional and loves to tell stories. He will give you a good laugh and nothing less. Be a friend and sit down and listen to what he has to say and I bet you will have a friend for life.

"We are more alike than different."

Technology

Travis (CBI)

Caleb (CBI)

Kaleb

Kaleb is another boy who has autism and can talk a little bit verbally and can say sentences. He uses an ipad very often to learn reading and play games that will calm him down. Kaleb also has a bracelet with a tracker in it for when he runs off! Kaleb is one cool dude.

Hannah

Hannah is hard to understand sometimes when she talks. If you ask clarifying questions like, "You saw a dog?" she can answer "yes" or "no" and the conversation can flow.

Travis

Hannah (CBI)

Travis has austism and is unable to speak verbally. Travis uses a phone like device that has preset sentences on it that allows him to tell people what it is that he needs or wants.

COMMUNICATION

Colby (Heartwood)

Ali (Heartwood)

Colby

Colby is a boy with autism and can communticate a little bit but has a hard time speaking words and putting sentences together. With Colby, you can kind of put together what he is saying but you still ask clarifying questions and he is very good and responding to them.

Ali

Ali is non-vocal and is in a wheelchair. For most of the day parapros do not expect him to communicate specific things. When he eats on the other hand, they have two buttons that he presses indicating if he wants food or drink.
