Marcus's mother. She and Marcus have a strong bond and tend to think alike. Lillian helps end or attempts to somewhat control the fights Marcus and his father have.

He is a bully and a noisy snob who is called a "narc for cops".
Marcus's best friend and second in command for there group. Ends up stabbed and detained and hidden for the majority of the story.

The pink haired girl from the beginning of the story who took the picture of Marcus and his group turns out to be a DHS operative but tries to help him escape the city which at the last second he turns down and ditches her.
Socials studies teacher who appears to be dedicated and independent. Tended to agree with Marcus on his topics especially on security.

The most technically brilliant guy of the group and does most of the programming.
The ideas person of the group but abandons Marcus and Jolu in there schemes in the story. She has had a thing for Marcus for a long time but doesn't admit it till the end.
