The Kabiye, also known as Kabye, Kabre, Cabrai', are a people living in the north central mountains and northern plains of Togo. They speak the Kabiye language. The Kabye are primarily known for farming and cultivation of harsh, dry, infertile lands of Togo. They grow cotton, millet and yams.

While Togo is most widely related to the practice of voodoo, the Kabye people practice a religion most closely related to christianity or islam. The Kabye people believe in a supreme being names Eso who is the god of creation. The first ancestor of the Kabye tribe named Esotisa was the messenger of this God. There customs are much like those of the religons mentioned earlier.
