In New York City on April 4, 1967, he delivered another really interesting and meaningful speech titled "Beyond Vietnam". He spoke strongly against the U.S's role in the war, insisting that the U.S was in Vietnam "to occupy it as an American Colony" and called the U.S government "the greatest perveyor of violence in the world today.

Martin Luther King, Jr.'s life was admirable because Dr. King scratched the the surface of racism, using really peacuful meathod to achieve his goal. For example, outstanding speeches, orgainizing marches, protesting and boycotting stores and place which had racial segregation. He basically made a change in history.

I have a dream!
Dr. King led the "March on Washington" where he gave a famous speech to over 250,000 people. In his speech, Dr. King explained how he dreamed that one day Black people would be just as equal as white people. Therefore, this speech became famously known as "I have a dream". This speech is one of the finest speech in the history of American Oratory.
Many people were inspired from his speeches and marches, therefore they took stand against racial segregation and descrimination, which concluded as an ending of racial segregation.

Dr. King was inspired by Gandhi's success with non- violent activism. King visited Gandhi's birth place in India in 1959.
The trip to India affected King in a profound way, deeping his understanding of non-violent resistance and his commitment to the America's struggle for Civil Rights.
King was also influenced by Jesus, Abraham, Lincoln, Benjamin Mays, Hosea Williams and Bayard Rustin.

On December 1, 1955, Rosa Parks was arrested for refusing to give her seat to a white pessenger on a bus in Montgomery, Albama. However, when King was acknowledged about this act of segregation, he helped organize The Montgomery Bus Boycott.
For consecutive 385 days, local African- American avoided public transport, causing a critical decrease in public transport revenues.
Even King's house was bombeb during these day, to add on he was arrested in regards for becoming the leader of the Montgomery Bus Boycott.
In the end, the United States District Court ruled to end racial segregation on all Montgomery Public Buses.
Martin Luther King became pastor of the Dexter Avenue Baptist Church in Montgomery, Albama when he was just 25 years old, afterall he was self-confident and persistent.

Young Martin
Martin's both father and grandfather were Baptist Pastor ministers. His mother was a schoolteacher, who taught him how to read before he went to school. Young Martin was an excellent student in school; he skipped grades in both elementary and high school. He enjoyed reading books, singing, riding a bike and playing football and baseball. Martin entered Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia at the age of 15.
