Where now?

Theme Park

This term Year 9 have been designers for a Theme park company.

Functional skills with email and CV writing as the students needed to get the job first.

Once they got the job it was on to the task of designing a new theme park.

Students were asked to use a Country of their choice and create a themed restaurant, gift shop and the ultimate rollercoaster.

DAT was used to explore and create music for different areas of the theme park, based upon their county of choice.

Year 9 will be starting Creative I-media next year so I introduced some pre-production techniques and we created a moodboard for the ideas and concept

Rollercoaster Tycoon

Once created it was time for the gaming programming Rollercoaster Tycoon.

We used this as our platform to expland on ideas and to make the theme park concept come to life.

Area 51! - Ride if you dare

Rollercoaster Junkie!

Using 'the World' as their topic students used cars, social media, sports players and company’s from around the world as their focus.

Students were asked to research and use Excel to create a spreadsheet of statistics.

Have we got time to talk about
