Users most commonly orally use rohypnol, swallowing or chewing the tablets. Users may also crush the tablets into a powder to snort the drug, which usually results in the user feeling the effects more rapidly. If taken along with other drugs, like marijuana or ecstasy, the user will be able to enhance the effects of those drugs.

Rohypnol is not available legally in the US and not approved for medical use or even manufactured in the US. It is scheduled with other benzodiazepines as a Schedule IV controlled substance.

Roofies is infamous for aiding sexual assault but also used to enhance other drugs as to persons who look to get profoundly intoxicated.

People who use roofies often can be prone to many different effects.

Roofies was first synthesized in the late 50s but modified into a tranquilizer in the early 70s all by a Swiss Global Health-care Company called, Hoffmann-La Roche. Its initial use was to deeply sedate hospitable patients where such a drug was needed. The first arrived to the US in mid-80s. In the 90s it was redesigned to dissolve quickly in hot liquids. Efforts were made so the drug would not be used for rape, obviously people always seem to find ways to pursue

contemptible hobbies.
