Characters and their Roles

  • Circe: The Goddess who warns Odysseus of his upcoming troubles
  • Sirens: They try to tempt the sailors to their death, they live in the ocean
  • Permidies: one of Odysseus men who keep him tied
  • Eurylochus: also one of Odysseus men who keep him tied
  • Odysseus: had to listen to the sirens, was the king to Ithaca

Summary

  • The Sirens in the story The Odyssey is at the point when Odysseus is undergoing to become a hero. At the beginning there is a Goddess named Circe and she is telling Odysseus all of the troubles that are going his way. On their way back to Ithaca one of his troubles come and it is The Sirens. The Sirens are trying to stop them until they are to their death.
