The Story Of Robert "Yummy" Sandifer

On the night of September 1, 1994 Both brothers Derrick and Cragg drove Robert to an abandoned tunnel and told Yummy to get on his knees and fatally shot Robert in the head 2 times murdering the young boy.

August 28, 1994

Before Robert was 3 years of age he was already being mistreated and neglected by his mother and he quickly got taken away by the Department of Children and Family Services.

Robert kept harassing kids in the neighborhood of Roseland, One night he was carrying a 9 Millimeter semi automatic pistol and he began shooting causing a 14 year old teen to die and injuring several other kids in the section.

1986

Robert allegedly had cigarette burns all over his body and had been physically beaten. After all that he went to live with his grandmother and other siblings. His grandmothers home wasn't even better then Roberts mother house he still had a bad life as a kid.

On August 31, 1994 Robert met with fellow gang members Cragg and Derrick Hardaway for help, Both brothers wanted to help but eventually realized if the cops where to get Robert, that he would become an informant.

Robert Sandifer was born to Lorina Sandifer, His mother had over 30 misdemeanors and Roberts father never had the chance to meet Robert due to being incarcerated throughout Roberts young life.

Quitting School & Criminal History Begins

Robert had a total of 23 Felonies and 5 Misdemeanors.

Robert never did time for all his crimes because he was still a young kid at the age of 11 and due to his age he couldn't be in jail so he just got probation and was let loose in the streets again.

By the age of 8 Robert stopped going to school and started living life his way, he was already associated with the Black Disciples and he began stealing cars and braking into peoples houses starting his criminal ways.

On September 14, 1994 The Times Magazine wrote an article of the life of Robert Sandifer which quickly became known throughout the nation and certainly grabbed so many people attention of a Young criminal boy whose life was ended in a terrible way by his fellow gang members.
