In 2013, a total of 273,105 babies were born to women aged 15–19 years, for a live birth rate of 26.5

• 47 percent of all high school students say they have sex and 15 percent of high school students have had sex with four or more partners during their lifetime
• High Schools students need to be aware of the obstacles they must face if they a)become pregnant or b) get a disease from a partner
• being taught about this more in high school will expand the knowledge of others and help stop the problem before it becomes an even bigger one

• Each year, approximately 5,000 young people under the age of 21 die as a result of underage drinking; this includes about 1,900 deaths from motor vehicle crashes, 1,600 as a result of homicides, 300 from suicide, as well as hundreds from other injuries such as falls, burns, and drownings
• According to the 2013 National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH), 35.1 percent of 15-year-olds report that they have had at least 1 drink in their lives.
• About 8.7 million people ages 12–20 (22.7 percent of this age group) reported drinking alcohol in the past month (23 percent of males and 22.5 percent of females).

Will the "Education Against Regulation" Party Disband?

(ages 12–17): In 2013 an estimated 697,000 adolescents ages 12–176 (2.8 percent of this age group7) had an AUD. This number includes 385,000 females6 (3.2 percent of females in this age group7) and 311,000 males6 (2.5 percent of males in this age group7).

An estimated 73,000 adolescents (44,000 males and 29,000 females) received treatment for an alcohol problem in a specialized facility in 2013.8

• because of that we are sure that the party will be around for as long as schools and education will be around
• Our party shows the negative aspects that happen in schools across America and gives students ways to be more prepared and more knowledgeable about their environment and ensures a better more educated future for them and a prosperous life with no regrets

Goals for our Party

• Our party is targeted towards students entering high school , as well as students that are already attending high school
• the problems mentioned in our party occur at high schools each and every day
• although theses problems occur regularly some students are not as informed as others may be
• that is where our Party comes into affect!
• we supply the knowledge for others so that they will not make any mistakes while in school so they can have a more successful , and knowing life when they are not in school and on their own!

Relevant Curriculum

• As children move from adolescence to young adulthood, they encounter dramatic physical, emotional, and lifestyle changes.
• Drinking can affect the biological development of young people as well as their school-related achievement and behavior.
• Teens have a hard enough time dealing with the pressures of studying and taking tests, that they don’t need anything making it more difficult.
• Teens that experiment with drugs and alcohol almost always show a decreased performance in school. If a teen is not learning the things they should in high school, they will have a more difficult time getting into college and supporting themselves with a job as an adult.

• Teachers should make it their duty to teach kids not only whats in a lesson plan but what they need to know once they are out of high school and in the real world
• Teachers teaching something that is more relevant to the students will engage them and allow more cooperation in the class
• Not only will the students be more willing to learn but the teachers will also have a better more focused , and involved classroom

Relevant Curriculum

By 2018 45% of jobs will REQUIRE a college degree. If children are not even passing high school and moving onto college they will not be able to get one of these jobs and will fall into poverty.

• Teaching children from a young age what is required of them to get these jobs and also how they manage their lives along side these jobs.
• These skill sets promotes growth and will help prevent millions of kids from becoming apart of so many who were not educated as well as others
