-Originates from human and animal waste.

GET INFECTED!

Eating undercooked, contaminated ground beef/pork

eating contaminated vegetables

Anyone exposed to the bacteria

-Age: younger and elderly , have more complications from infection

-Weak immune systems: People that have AIDS, or use drugs to treat cancer or medication for organ transplants

-Types of foods: under cooked hamburgers, unpasteurized milk, apple cider or juice, and soft cheeses from raw milk.

How does Ecoli affect the body?

Sudden Diarrhea, often bloody

Keep hydrated, if left untreated it can lead to kidney failure or anemia

get plenty of rest

Ecoli cases have been the same throughout the years

it is a very common bacteria so it doesn't appear that is will go away.
