Some of Frances traditional foods are consists of Soup a L;Oragnon Gratinee (onion soup) with a side of bagguette. Other traditional foods in France are Mousee au choclot (chocolate Mousee) and Croque-Monsieur (ham and cheese sandwich). A famous dessert is Macorrons.

People in France obviously speak French! Some of the basic words used there are bonjour (hello), Prof (teacher), aim (friend), Prenom (name), sallede de brains (bathroom), and je vous remercie (thank you.) Although they say some words different they are often spelled the same.

Conclusion

Eve Green is a very famous model, born on July 6, 1980. Chales Baudelaire was also famous. He was a french poet and translatior of Edgar Allan Poe. Emma watson is a famous acter, she is in Harry Potter and The new Beauty in the Beast. President Emmanuel Macon is a very famous person. He's helping France with its success.

In conclusion France is an interesting country. In France they enjoy some of the same sports and fashions we do in the U.S. There are some differences though. We don't speak the same language and they get much longer lunch breaks as we do in America. We think France is a wonderful country to learn about. We would love visiting there one day!

The French has 11 public holidays, 5 of them are civil holidays. The two main celebrations are Victory in Europe Day and Bastille Day. Victory in Europe Day is a holiday celebrated on May 8 . It is celebrated to mark the acceptance by the allies of world war ll when Nazi Germany surrendered its armed forces. Bastille Day is celebrated on July 14. Bastille is known to be the most important holiday in France. The storming of Bastille was a very essential part in French history.

France has different varieties of music. The most traditional genre is classical. Other genres are opera, folk, and rock. One popular song is La Morseillais (the national anthem.)

France's capital is Paris. France is located in the northwest of Europe. France has 248,578 square miles. It is also 13 million square feet. Most of France is on Flat ground.

Schools in France call Kindergarten-5 Primary school when we would call it Elementary. Most students have to wear school uniforms. Monday-Friday they get up ta 8:00 to go to school and get out at 5:00. They also get a two hour lunch break.

Girls in France wear casual dresses with flats or high heels. They also wear black fluid pants with a jean jacket. boys wear pea coats and tight black jeans.

France has more than it's share of crazy laws. Did you know that it is illegal to carry live snail on a high-speed train unless they have a ticket? It is also illegal to have unlimited, self-served ketchup in French schools.
