Acids and bases in the production of fertilizers
Rock phosphate (which is an base) is used in phosphate fertilizers-but most common fertilizers contain a small amount of acid.
The biggest use of sulphuric acid is in the production of fertilizers.
The main materials used in fertilizer are;
hydrocarbon sources,sulphur
,phosphate rock,potassium,salts,micro nutrients,water and air.
