Romeo was of a noble birth because the Montagues were a prestigous family.

Downfall

Fatal Flaw

Romeo's downfall arouses pity from the characters and the audience. Despite his flaws and foolishness, his and Juliet's deaths still were a waste of human life.

Romeo's fatal flaw is that he is impulsive and he is in love with the thought of being in love.

He quickly decides that he is in love with Juliet, even though he barely knows her. He also decides to commit suicide because he believes Juliet is dead.

Wounded by Experiences

Romeo was spiritually wounded by his experiences with Rosaline. He was also spiritually wounded by his relationship with Juliet, which led to the death of Mercutio, his friend.

Romeo was responsible for many of the misfortunes that befell him. He is responsible for the emotional wounds caused by Rosaline because of his poor understanding of love. He also failed to predict the consequences of many of his other actions.

Undeserved Suffering

Romeo suffered more than he deserved due to the feud. He didn't deserve the suffering that came from the feud getting in between him and Juliet. He also didn't deserve to die, but he still killed himself.
