What is Insulin?
The definite cause of type 1 diabetes is unknown, though there is research to suggest possible correlations
Insulin is a hormone produced in the pancreas, by beta cells, that turn sugars into energy for the cells in the body

- Bed wetting for children who don't generally wet the bed
- Vaginal yeast infection, in women

- Fatigue
- Increased thirst
- Increased urination
- Extreme hunger
- Weight loss
- Blurred vision
- Irritability or mood swings
Family History of Diabetes
Type 2
- Non-insulin dependent
- The beta cells being to fatigue, producing less insulin
- The body is resisting to the insulin that is produced
- Formerly known as "adult onset"
