Romans 3:9

..."There is NONE righteous no not ONE"

Why is no one considered Good?

Definition of Good..

Good- morally excellent, virtuous, righteous

satisfactory, merit,

Are you good?

Is anybody good?

Is anyone good enough for God

What did we Learn about Sin?

This is called

TOTAL DEPRAVITY!

Ephesians 2:1-3 And you were dead in your trespasses and sins in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience – among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind.

Romans 5:12 Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned.

• What was the immediate response of Adam and Eve after they ate the forbidden fruit and sinned against God?

• What does their response tell us about the effects of sin in our lives?

Why Grace?

Since we are born with sin in our hearts and we know that there is nothing we can do to be good enough for God; we realize that without God’s grace there is no way that we could go to heaven.
