Some points to consider:

Don’t use all the bells & whistles, unless they have a purpose!
Use legible fonts, sizes & keep amount of text low!
Watch clashing colours!
Be consistent.
Don’t overdo the bullets in presentations!
Smooth transitions!
Video: slow movement, don’t zoom in/out too much & use a tripod!
Sound: watch volume, quality: use a microphone!
