Introduction:
While planning this planner we wanted it reader friendly so that most students know how to use it in an efficient way. We hope our planner benefits every student and increase everyone's organizational skills. Also assist them with mastering skills necessary for high school and post secondary success!
The purpose of the project, "Organize Me" is to maximize your effectiveness or your organizational skills for example. knowing due dates and keeping track of all your work. The AVID standards we used 10 ORG-A1 and 10 COMM A-8
Content:
The usefulness of our content pages are so that they serve as guides for the students. In our planner we chose to add pages like, a contact information, health care information, periodic table, school's recent schedule, map, and a multiplication chart. We thought that these pages would be the most needed throughout our high school year.
THEME:
You may wonder why we chose our theme to be about colleges and universities.....
Well since AVID = Colleges/Universities and this class is basically about this main topic. My group and I picked out our favorite colleges/universities we want to attend and decided to give each month one college.
Format:
Design:
We chose to format the planner like this because we wanted to show some of the many colleges. The calendar is put made small so that if for example if you want to know what day December 8th is you can look and know its a saturday. We added the writing part so that you could write due dates, test dates, or even important date or events.
We chose to design the planner this way because it would make it look organized and clean. We also chose it took this way because we thought that we should show the college logos as a way to think of a college you probably would want to go or to fit with the theme in a colorful way.
