Positive Recognition Board

You will need:

  • sugar paper
  • whiteboard pen
  • lego board
  • lego

1. Recognise and praise the positive behaviour of the child or children around the child you are trying to focus on.

2. Write their name on the sugar paper saying aloud why they got it. Continue on swiftly with your teaching.

3. They can then add a piece of lego to the board straightaway. Teacher quickly congratulates again.

4. If that child receives positive praise again, add a tally mark beside his/her name. They can add another piece of lego.

5. Bring model on a Friday to celebration assembly for a display. I will put on FB page to recognise all the positive behaviour of the week.

6. You make the rules!
