30 years of experience in the production of chenille yarn for home textile, contract fabrics and automotive textiles, have made this company a leader in the upholstery market niche.
The combined annual capacity
of the two plants is
5,000 tons.
Rifil's main manufacturing
plant incorporates dyeing facilities
consisting of both advanced process
hank dyeing and package dyeing,
with an annual capacity of
over 15,000 tons.
Starting on September 1st 2013
Rifil will supply Arfil’s
Romanian manufacturing plant,
Dorotex, with Dralon spun yarn.

Arfil's recently upgraded
Dorohoi plant
will produce Dralon chenille
exclusively for Rifil.
The Rifil chenille will then be dyed
according to customers’ requirements
and shipped, or shipped in ecru
to customers.
This new approach to production
will optimize the supply chain
by streamlining the manufacturing process
and taking full advantage of the two companies' strongest points.
This new alliance will thus allow us to provide our customers with the most efficient service yet.
Arfil has its headquarters in the textile capital of Italy, Prato.
Rifil SA was the first
Western-European joint
venture into the east of
the continent.

It is one of Europe’s major acrylic
spinners and part of the
Italian Group that
also owns Dralon Fibre Gmbh.

After 15 years of successful cooperation,
Rifil SA and Arfil Srl
are proud to announce the beginning of
their new strategic alliance
for the supply of Dralon chenille.
