Multiple Intelligences

Dr Howard Gardner developed the theory of ‘Multiple Intelligences’. He

says that there are eight kinds of intelligence, not just one. People are

intelligent in different ways and therefore they learn things in different ways.

We should see all the different types of intelligence as important and

valuable. Education should help people to learn in different ways.

Brainstorm the eight different intelligences identified by Dr Howard Gardner. Here's a hint: the first one is "logical-mathematical".

Let's chat!

  • What is your set of intelligence strengths?
  • How does it help at work?
  • How does it help in your personal life?
  • How do different strengths effect team work?

What is intelligence?

What do you think of intelligence tests? Do you think they are accurate?

Why are some people more intelligent than others?

Do you think scientists will create Artificial Intelligence that is greater than our intelligence?

Is there a link between intelligence, creativeness and humour?

Does intelligence make people more attractive?

Do you worry about your levels of intelligence?

What can you do to increase your intelligence?

Does being very intelligent make you happy?
