My Goal:

To become a pediatric cardiologist!

Step 1: I Need to Volunteer!

To prepare for the medical field, I'm going to volunteer at

hospitals or daycares. These facilities will educate me in the correct ways to deal with children, as well as working in the same environment that my career takes place in.

THE END!!

Step 2: Finishing School!

I plan on heading to this high school:

And heading to this College:

Now that I've acheived all of my career goals, I can focus on creating a family. Gregory and I will have 2 children, 3 the max. If they're all girls, their names will be Jamie, Vanessa, and Danielle. If they are all boys, their names will be Christopher, Jaeden, and Gregory Jr. We will have a golden retriever named Marley, and live in a big, 5 bedroom, 5 bathroom house, with a pool in the back.

Step 3: 4 Years of Regular College.

My Future Odyssey!

To become a doctor, I'm going to have to enroll in a lot of science classes. Since my specific profession is a pediatric cardiologist, I'll be taking anatomy, chemistry, biology, and additional classes under the same category. All these classes will prepare me for medical school.

I'm probably going to have an apartment outside of school if I can't have an individual dorm, because I'm not really good at sharing spaces....

Step 6: Getting My License!

When I finish my residency, I'll have to get a medical license. After that and taking the boards, I can practice my medicine freely. Since I want my private practice to be in California, Gregory and I will have to move there ahead of time, so I can study to get my license.

Step 4: Med School!

Sacramento, CA

To get into Medical School, I'm going to have to take the MCATs, or the Medical School Admissions Test. The MCATs are a standardized test that consists of multiple choice questions and writing samples. These questions assess your science skills, problem solving, and critical thinking. After I take the MCATs, I'll begin to narrow down my choice of medical schools. I'll either go to Harvard Medical, or John Hopkins Medical School.

Another Sidebar:

By this time I'll be married to Gregory, and he'll also be doing something in the medical field, or in law.

In the Meantime.....

I'll have a boyfriend named Gregory that I'll meet either in Med School or college.

Step 5: Residency!

Just a sidebar! :)

After 4 years of medical school, I'll be beginning my residency. By this time, I'll be 25 or so. I'll be doing a combined residency of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. This will take about 3 years. Afterwards, I'll continue on to fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology, which will take another 3 years. At this point, I'm not too far away from getting my license!
