Plant and animal adaptations

To begin with, an adaptation for a plant, the bengal bamboo, is that they grow vascular bundles. To explain, they use theese bundles absorb water faster as well as large roots to absrb water faster as well. Bamboo grows really fast so it can be tall enough to photosynthesize in the shade of the trees.

Some abiotic factors in the rainforests are Water, Rocks, Soil, Sunlight, air and temperature.

Some biotic factors in the tropical rainforests are Tigers, Lions, Elaphants, Langurs (Monkreys), grasses, Bamboo and Durions.

Bengal bamboo is the first plant that grows in the tropical rainforests. They grow in undergrowths in the tropical rainforests.

Next, Mangrove trees grow in the rainforests. They grow on the beaches to prevent erosion from water.

Lastly, Jambu is a fruit grown in the rainforests on small trees or large shrubs. A very popular fruit in South east Asia (they are actually edible not poisonus.

First Red pandas live in the Rainforests. Red pandas live in bamboo thickets in the tropical rainforest. They are endangered because of hunting and habitat loss.

Secondly, sun bears are another species of bear that live in the tropical rainforest. Endangered from hunting for their fur and for Asian medicines. They live in lower elevations in the rainforests.

Lastly, Langurs are the final animals that live in the tropical rainforests. Langurs are not endangered but are killed for their meat. Groups live in single trees when they sleep.
