When Gilgamesh returns to Uruk princess Ishtar falls in love when she sees him and tells him if he can marry her when he says no she she gets so angry and goes to the heavens to ask her father and mother for the bull of heaven to kill Gilgamesh when her father refuses to give it to her she threatens him by telling him she will release the dead from the underworld to feast on the living. Her father warns her by telling her if she lets the bull loose it will destroy Uruk crops and they will not grow for seven years and ask her if she has enough food to feed everyone for those seven years she says yes. When she releases the bull and it touches the earth he stomps and open up the earth. Enkidu falls into it but thinks fast and grabs the bull by its horns and Gilgamesh stabs the bull in the neck killing it. After they rip out the bulls heart and presented it to Shamash
