The book Brooklyn Nine is basically about the Schneider Family and their baseball history. The whole book is placed in a timeline from the year of 1845 to 2002. Each inning tells things about the different characters in a different time period in each generation. So to start the book Felix Schneider was watching the Knickerbockers, his favorite baseball team. During the game a fire broke out through the city so Felix went to stop the fire. In the mean time Louis Schneider took a break from the war to play baseball. He then met Arnold Schneider his biggest baseball hero.Walter Snider is on vacation with his family on Coney Island he joins a team while there. Frankie Snider is the smart one. Kat Snider plays for the all American Girls Baseball League. Jimmy Flint gets bullied at school. Michael Flint plays for a little league baseball team he is a very good pitcher. All of the Schneider family is tied together with baseball they talk about their love within baseball the whole book.

Felix plays in 1854 and likes the New York Knickerbockers. Louis is a soldier during the Civil War and plays ball between battles. Arnold is a fan in 1894 and gets to meet his favorite player. Walter is a batboy for the Brooklyn Superbas in 1908. Frankie bets on the game in 1926. Kat, a girl, plays for the Grand Rapids Chicks in 1945. Jimmy can’t believe it when he finds out the Dodgers are leaving Brooklyn in 1957. Michael just might pitch a perfect game in 1981. Snider sells baseball stuff on e-bay
Felix went to America.
The War ends and people still play baseball.
The most memorable aspect, to me is when Felix Schneider ran to town in Germany so he could help put out the raging fires in the city.
At the end of the story Felix found a Babe Ruth Bat that was worth alot of money.
My Favorite Character in the book is Felix Schneider he is the main character in the book. I like him as a character because he is a lot like me. He is athletic, he is a baseball player, he is fast, and he also is a hero.
The theme of the story i think would be that sports can bring a family together.
A quote from the setting could be no matter where you are sports might bring your family together
"And if i were your son, I would run away to California."
Felix says that and later in the book he ran away to America.
This Story doesn't have a point of view because in each chapter the story is told from father to son.
