I'll teach you how to make
logo look like that,
and after you can try the things that you have
learned on your own
images.
Photoshop
Like this:
You can use
alt+drag
Now, duplicate that layer a few times:
Can do some really cool stuff!
Download the logo image here:

Create a copy of your layer
Use Free Transform tool to resize and rotate
the layers to make it look interesting
Now go

Like so:
Cool, right?
Select the top frame and start adding layer styles!
Double-click the empty grey area to begin
Use the Wand tool to select the letter
S from the logo
While the TOP layer is selected, click the
"Add Layer Mask"
button
Now you can add blur to some of the layers
Try "Inner Shadow", "Inner Glow", "Pattern Overlay" and "Outer Glow". Or anything you like :)
