What significant role did the person play in the life of the nation?

On one side of the 5 dollar note there is a picture of Henry Parkes, and next to the picture there is 5 dollars written and next to that there is a 5. Most of the other pictures on the 5 dollar note, are for security reasons. Multi coloured, fine lined patterns appear on the note, for security reasons so people can’t copy the note. The federation star is also on the banknote which represents the Australian flag. It has seven points. Six represent the states which formed the Australian Federation in 1901.

He was referred to the “Father Of Federation” because he was one of the most influential Prime Ministers. He was a very big believer of people coming together and states joining together.
