Positive or Negative relationship?

The DiLaurentis/Hastings/Drake Family Explained...

Even though there may be some disagreements with Spencer and her mother i would say for the most part they have a positive relationship. They do communicate with each other; for example i choose this scene because this shows them communicating. Although it may not be the best conversation to have they are still talking to each other and expressing what happened after/before Spencer was born.

Kenneth and Jessica are the parents of Alison.

Jessica and Peter are the parents of Jason.

Peter and Veronica are the parents of Melissa.

Peter and Mary are the parents of Spencer and Alex (Twins).

Mary and Ted are the parents of Charlotte.

In the show Spencer doesnt know Mary is her mom and she doesnt know she has a twin. This is because when Spencer was born Mary was in Radley Sanitarium. when she was born Veronica and Peter took her. they didnt realize there was a twin (Alex).

• Extended Family

consists of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, Grandparents, and Godparents.

In this TV show the main family members are Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. Although in the beginning of the show they dont know that they are related they find this out throughout the show.

In this TV series i believe that Spencer displays positive communication. I find that she is the best at communicating how she feels and her opinions on different topics. She also brings a comedic vibe to some scenarios.

I believe that this family has a negative relationship because all that revolves around this family is fighting, crime, and death. Before Spencer finds out more about her extended family and all this problems arise she has a very competitive relationship with her sister. Melissa and Spencer are always having disagreements and fighting (there are also fights with their parents). This is a negative and unhealthy relationship to have with a family member.

I believe that Spencer's dad displays negative communication because he isn't really talking about anything that happens besides work and business deals he is trying to get. In this video Spencer confronts him about what he has been hiding and he blames it on her withdrawal about her thinking he is hiding something.
