The Battle of Britain is a famous historic event in British history;and some believe that it was a turning-point for Britain and the rest of the World.Taking over Europe,the brutal German army had conquered several countries-including France and Czechoslovakia.But the powerful Adolf Hitler,who was the ruler of Germany,had thought of his most daring plan yet...invading Britain;and he codenamed it 'Operation Sea Lion'.His plan was to take all of his troop and ammunition by boat across the channel,but a problem occurred so on 10th July,1940 the German Air Force(Luftwaffe containing 2,500 planes) aimed to destroy the 'Royal Air Force'(R.A.F)that contained of only 1,000 unexpierienced pilots.But why did Germany have to use its planes?
