It was reported that the hero Heracles has commited the unspeakable act, of killing his wife and children. After the killings he deeply regretted his actions and asked the Oracle of Delphi for forgivness. Penance would be given after serving Eurystheus, King of Tiryns, for twelve years.
A Greek goddess was reported to have been born over the weekend. According to one, she is the daughter of Zeus and Dione, the mother goddess worshipped at the Oracls of Dodona. However, another version from a reliable source claims that she arose from the sea on a giant scallop, after Cronus castrated Uranus and tossed his severed genitlas into the sea. Aphrodite then walked to the shore of Cyprus.
Upon her birth she is now the goddess of love, desire, and beauty.

Recent report of a man eating Sphinx has occured outside the city of Thebes. The Sphinx is the daughter of Orthus and Echidna. The Sphinx has been described to as having a human head and the body of a lion. She also has the wings of an eagle and the tail serpent. You can see a picture of this creature to the right. When you greet the Sphinx she will ask you a riddle. If you cannot answer the riddle she will eat you.
